Silver for Sustainability

We have retained the Silver rating and increased our overall score this year at the EcoVadis Assessment, the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating.

In the industry category “manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparation,” our overall score has increased from 57 to 63.

The key contributors in score improvement: Sai Life Sciences becoming a Signatory to UNGC principles, ISO 14001/45001 and ISO 27001 standards, CDP reporting, Sustainable Procurement Framework and enterprise-wide Energy Conservation efforts.

Ecovadis rates more than 90,000 companies worldwide. This year’s assessment included new criteria in critical areas such as climate change, employee engagement with measured outcomes and quantifiable impact, diversity & inclusion, and continuous engagement with external stakeholders.

With a Gold rating in sight, the team continues its efforts towards all round improvement in the areas of Health, Safety, Environment, ethics, labor & human rights and sustainable procurement.
